On Sunday, Aug. 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., record labels, gear heads, vinyl collectors and music fans will take over the MSOE Kern Center for a day of shopping and sharing, while bands perform from the local Milwaukee music scene. A special early bird preview will be held from 10 to 11 a.m.
“Previously we would do our yearly ‘Collector And Gear’ show but with the addition of bands, more record labels and vendors we decided this year’s event is much bigger – it’s definitely a Record Ruckus,” said WMSE GM Tom Crawford. Added vendors include – The Exclusive Company, Off the Beaten Path and Record Head along with Milwaukee labels – Gloss, Goodland, Dusty Medical, Radiograffiti, Top Five and performances by Midwestern Charm, Soft Targets, Piles, Midwives and The Demix/CCDM/Night Hunter will make for a great day for collectors from all over.
To take part in the Record Ruckus it’s $5 any time after 11 a.m. at the door but should you want to attend the early bird preview it’s $20.
If you are interested in being a vendor please email eventswmse@msoe.edu or give us a call at 414.277.2221 and cause a Ruckus with WMSE.
