WMSE and Company Brewing Present SMASH Ale 2016

WMSE Poundcake Punk DJ Drew Walther along with Company Brewing Brewmaster George Bregar combined their talents to present to you this year’s edition of WMSE’s SMASH Ale. This single malt / single hop promises to be a delightful treat for all beer drinkers. This special brew features Wisconsin grown Nugget hops, Munich Malt and English ale yeast.

“It was great to work with Company Brewery. George and I seem to have like minds when it comes to creating beer so the whole process was incredibly easy,” said MSOE alumnus and WMSE DJ Drew Walther. “It’s our second outing with the SMASH Ale and we knew it had to be a ‘SMASH,’ pun intended.”

WMSE’s first event to introduce SMASH Ale 2016 to the public is this Friday, July 22, at Urban Bay View from 6-9 p.m. Milwaukee legend and WMSE DJ Paul Cebar will set the mood for what will surely be a great night of music and beer. A portion of the proceeds from this WMSE Smash Ale launch goes to support your favorite radio station.

We’ll be hosting events throughout the summer so be sure to mark your calendar to get an opportunity to taste the beer of the summer! For more information on these events please check out our website at wmse.org.
