WisGOP Statement on Kamala Harris’ Visit to Ripon

By - Oct 3rd, 2024 05:16 pm

MADISON, Wis. – If you are covering Vice President Kamala Harris‘ event in Ripon today, please consider the following statement from WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming:

“For four years, the hopes and dreams of working Wisconsinites were dashed by a historically incompetent administration more interested in catering to the fringes than serving the needs of ordinary Americans. When Kamala Harris arrives in Fox Valley, she will realize that Wisconsinites see through her charade. Ducking the press will never erase the fact that inflation has cost the average Wisconsin family more than $26,000 with Kamala Harris and Joe Biden in the White House. Desperate excuses cannot explain away the hundreds of suspects on the terror watchlist who tried to infiltrate the United States on her watch. And no amount of revisionist history or hollow words will distract voters from the fact they were better off four years ago.” —WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming

Background:

  • According to a Joint Economic Committee report, the average household in Wisconsin has lost $26,876 due to inflation since the start of the Biden-Harris Administration in January 2021.
  • More than 380 individuals on the terror watchlist were encountered at the Mexico-United States border under the Biden-Harris Administration.
