Wisconsin Veterans Museum Holiday Gift Guide
Proceeds from gift purchases benefit veteran-focused causes
MADISON, Wis. (November 25, 2024) – With the holiday season quickly approaching, Wisconsin Veterans Museum (WVM) is proud to offer a selection of unique and memorable gifts made by local and veteran-owned businesses. Shoppers can purchase apparel, toys, treats and more for loved ones all while supporting veteran-focused causes.
Bucket of Bread – Chris Wysong, a U.S. Army veteran, founded Bucket of Bread due to his love of baking and his experiences in the U.S. Army sharing recipes with Afghan locals. Each bucket includes dry goods to produce two pounds of dough to be used in a variety of ways. Proceeds benefit Wisconsin food pantries.
COBI – The COBI building block sets are one of the WVM Gift Store’s best sellers. A variety of realistic kits are available of some of the most iconic vehicles and planes in military history—from World War I to present.
Operation Coffee – Sam Floyd, USMC and Iraq veteran, returned home from deployment and found his calling in roasting coffee. Made in Campbellsport, Wisconsin, proceeds of each coffee sale helps to bring about awareness of veteran suicide.
Lady Vet – Bethanie Pitsky, U.S. Navy, created the apparel line Lady Vet to raise the voice and visibility of women veterans.
Tapped Maple Syrup – The Solin family has been producing small-batch maple syrup on their sustainably managed forests in Neva, Wisconsin for five generations.
Wisconsin License Plate T-shirt – The Wisconsin License Plate T-Shirt, a best-seller at the WVM Gift Shop, features a design inspired by the state’s license plate style.

Fido Ops – Founded by U.S. Army veteran Brendan McNichol, Fido Ops creates premium dog treats and chews. Every purchase supports initiatives that empower veterans, military members and first responders in need.
Soda Pup – Soda Pup is a veteran-owned business that focuses on providing unique dog products that are functional and durable. Soda Pup also helps support dog shelters through their Rescue2 program.
