Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce welcomes Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. as newest founding member
Area law firm takes leadership role to support Wisconsin’s veteran-owned business community
Milwaukee – The Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce announced Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. (WHD) as the organization’s newest founding member and a Bronze Star sponsor. WHD is the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce’s third founding sponsor, and joins more than 30 business members from across the state in supporting Wisconsin’s veteran business community.
“We are privileged and excited to support Wisconsin Veteran’s Chamber of Commerce and its efforts to support military veterans, veteran-owned and veteran-friendly businesses,” said WHD’s Chief Executive Paul Eberle. “Many of our employees, members of their families and our clients are veterans, and supporting them is not only the right thing to do, but also important for the communities in which we work.”
WHD, a leading Wisconsin business and litigation law firm, announced on April 29 that it will combine with Husch Blackwell effective July 1, 2016. The move strengthens both firms’ commitment to providing industry knowledge and experience to clients. The combined firm will retain the Husch Blackwell name and will continue to operate in all markets where both firms currently have offices. With the addition of WHD’s offices in Milwaukee, Madison and Waukesha County, Wis., as well as Chicago, Husch Blackwell will have more than 700 attorneys and offices in 19 cities.
“We are honored to welcome Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek (and Husch Blackwell) as a founding sponsor of our organization,” said Saul Newton, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce. “Thanks to WHD’s leadership and commitment to our organization, veterans, entrepreneurs and small-business owners have the support they need to be successful.”
WHD is a sponsor of the upcoming Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce First Annual Business Luncheon. The event, held on May 26 at the Milwaukee War Memorial Center, will highlight the contributions veterans make to Wisconsin’s business community, and features keynote speaker Wisconsin Secretary of Veterans Affairs John Scocos.
“The Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce looks forward to working with WHD to grow Wisconsin’s veteran business community,” Newton concluded.
