Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce congratulates Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele on 2nd Inauguration Day
County Executive continues to be champion for veterans and business development
Milwaukee – The Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce, Wisconsin’s only business organization dedicated to serving veteran owned and veteran friendly businesses, is proud to congratulate Chris Abele on his second inauguration as Milwaukee County Executive. Last month, Milwaukee County voters reelected Abele to a second four-year term as County Executive.
“Milwaukee’s veteran business community is lucky to have a partner and advocate in Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele,” said Saul Newton, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce. “County Executive Abele recognizes the contributions veterans make to our communities and our local economy. We are excited and proud to have the opportunity to work with County Executive Abele over the next four years to support Milwaukee County’s veteran business community.”
Under Abele’s leadership, more veterans are able to access the benefits they have earned and be productive members of our community. Moreover, Abele’s support of critical economic development investments, such as the new Bucks’ arena and planned ancillary development, will expand business opportunities and create thousands of jobs in Milwaukee County that will benefit veterans and their families.
“County Executive Abele’s support for the veteran community in Milwaukee County has generated greater economic opportunity for military veterans and their families,” Newton concluded. “We look forward to working with County Executive Abele and the County Board to make Milwaukee County a leader in supporting veteran owned and veterans friendly businesses.”
