Wisconsin State Fair Earns Nomination for Best State Fair

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – June 29, 2026 – As Wisconsinites prepare to attend the celebration 175 years in the making, Fairgoers across the land are invited to help make Wisconsin State Fair, presented by T-Mobile, the top state Fair in the country. The USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards spotlight top-tier attractions and businesses, providing readers with trusted and valued recommendations. Today, USA TODAY revealed their team of editors, along with a panel of subject matter experts, have chosen the Wisconsin State Fair as a nominee for Best State Fair.

Polls are now open, and fans of Wisconsin State Fair are invited to vote early and vote often at https://10best.usatoday.com/qr/61783/.

The Wisconsin State Fair regularly attracts more than a million attendees annually and is among the most attended state fairs in the country. Its mission is to celebrate the best of Wisconsin by highlighting agriculture and other industries paramount to Wisconsin’s rich history and promising future. With tons of family-friendly, affordable, and educational activities available for all Fairgoers, the Wisconsin State Fair works to create lasting memories and traditions that are cherished for generations.

Individuals 18 years and older may vote once a day until the July 27 deadline. The top 10 winners, as ranked by USA TODAY 10BEST readers, will be announced on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 11 a.m. CT. Official voting rules can be found at https://10best.usatoday.com/awards/rules/.

Vote daily and mark your calendars for Wisconsin State Fair – the best 11 days of summer – when it kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 6 and runs through Sunday, Aug. 16.
