Wisconsin Democrats Welcome President Biden to Superior
Ahead of President Joe Biden’s visit to Wisconsin today to discuss how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is paying off for our state, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler released the following statement:
“Two years ago, Wisconsin welcomed President Biden to Superior to highlight the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s once-in-a-generation investment in our nation’s roads, bridges, railroads, and water systems. Today, we’re thrilled the president is returning to Superior to celebrate a critical new investment in the Blatnik Bridge. While the Republican Congressmen on both sides of the Blatnik voted against repairing our infrastructure, Senator Baldwin helped to get the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law across the finish line and has worked alongside Governor Evers for two years to bring this funding home.
“President Biden’s visit today highlights the contrast between the Biden-Harris Administration delivering for Wisconsin and Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans’ years of failure that turned ‘infrastructure week’ into a punchline. President Biden and Democrats are delivering an infrastructure decade, with the Blatnik Bridge as the latest project benefitting thanks to the Biden-Harris Administration. This is a truly historic investment in Wisconsin and the future of the Twin Ports, and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin is proud to welcome President Biden back to Wisconsin to celebrate this achievement.”
