MADISON — Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Martha Laning issued the following statement on the 2017 Labor Day Holiday:
“As we enjoy time with our families and friends this long Labor Day weekend, I encourage you to reflect on the sacrifices that have been made throughout history by workers and organized labor, securing hard fought victories to improve the lives of working people throughout America. In their honor, let’s also keep focus on the work that remains to be done to protect working people and ensure the opportunity for a high quality of life that all Americans deserve. Happy Labor Day!”
