Madison — Today, the Wisconsin Building Trades Council (WBTC), announced the endorsement of Sara Geenen for Court of Appeals, District One. The WBTC’s 17 member crafts represent more than 40,000 voices of working men and women from every building and construction trade in Wisconsin.

“With Sara Geenen, we will have a judge dedicated to preserving democracy and maintaining the judiciary’s integrity,” said Emily Pritzkow, WBTC Executive Director. “Raised in a pro-labor, blue-collar family, Sara has spent her career advocating for working people as an organizer, and representing workers and local and international labor organizations as a labor and employment attorney. Wisconsinites deserve a fair, impartial judge on the Court of Appeals who will enforce the law without bias.  We know Sara will never pander to special interests and is committed to protecting the rights of Wisconsin’s workers.”
