Brookfield, WI – August 27, 2025 – The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts announced today that Executive Director Sandy Wysocki will retire at the end of 2025, concluding a highly successful tenure that has strengthened the Center and expanded its impact in the community.

Since assuming the role of Executive Director, Sandy has provided visionary leadership, guiding the Wilson Center through periods of growth, innovation, and resilience. Under her stewardship, the Center has enhanced its programming, forged stronger community partnerships, and built a solid foundation for the future.

“The Wilson Center is in a much stronger position today because of Sandy’s dedication and passion,” said David Konkel, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “Her leadership has elevated the Center’s role as a cultural hub for our community, and we are deeply grateful for all she has accomplished. While we will miss her daily presence, we are thrilled to celebrate her achievements and legacy over the next several months.”

The Wilson Center Board of Directors has already initiated the search process for Sandy’s successor to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.

“It has been a true joy and honor to serve this community through the Wilson Center,” said Sandy Wysocki. “Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of building an outstanding team and culture, and drawing on my career experiences to help shape the work we’ve done together. I’m deeply proud of how far we’ve come—serving more people, and a wider variety of audiences, than ever before. As I step away, I do so with great confidence that the next Executive Director will inherit a strong foundation for the continued success of the Center.”

The Wilson Center plans to recognize Sandy’s contributions with a special celebration, details of which will be shared in the months ahead.
