About Creatures of Doubt
“If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.” René Descartes
What is truth? How do we know our truth is real? Creatures of Doubt follows young Paun Schäfer on his journey to define himself, his purpose, and his reality. Facing the shaping forces of home and the outside world, will Paun be able to find his real voice? Will he be able to reconcile defining differences with his brother Lark? Or, worse yet, will his mumblings just become another layer to the faceless
cacophony? Written and scored by Patricio Amerena, Creatures of Doubt attempts to unravel this riddle during its limited engagement at the iconic Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum.
Starring Patricio Amerena (T.I.M. – The Improvised Musical) and Robby McGhee (The Burden of Being) Creatures of Doubt is a theatrical experience not to be missed. A catered reception will follow each performance at a location disclosed from the stage. Robby and Patricio are long standing members of T.I.M. at Comedy Sportz.
