WBB Falls at No. 5 UConn in Regular-Season Finale
Golden Eagles to play in 4/5 game Saturday at BIG EAST Tournament at Mohegan Sun
The Marquette University women’s basketball team fell at No. 5 UConn in its regular-season finale on Sunday, 92-57.
The Huskies (28-3, 18-0 BIG EAST) were led by Paige Bueckers, who had 19 points and seven assists.
NOTABLES:
- Marquette finished the conference season with a 5-4 road record, the most road wins by a first-year head coach in program history.
- Jaidynn Mason led the team in scoring for the third time this season.
