Vennture Brew Co. expands to Brookfield

Vennture Brewing Co. has acquired 10 year old Biloba Brewing in Brookfield. They hope to continue the tradition of brewing great beer and creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere to be in. They plan on bringing coffee and fruit/hop forward styles of beer to the menu as well as some of the favorite beers brewed by Biloba.

Brewing will continue in the Washington Heights location as permits are secured to brew at both locations. There are currently no plans to put in a roasting space at the new location since there is ample capacity at the current location for multiple cafes. There are plans to expand hours to seven days a week similar to the Washington Heights location.

Vennture will have bakery options from Batter and Mac based in Menomonee Falls in the morning and throughout the afternoon as well as pizza in the afternoon/evening. They will be looking for up to nine staff both part time and full time as bartenders and baristas as well as a community/events manager.

“We are very excited with what the Lane family has done in the community and hope to be able to pick up where they are leaving off. We are hoping to bring our love for liquids that provide opportunities for connection to more people.”

Vennture is hoping to be open and operational mid March. They also hope to utilize the smaller event space for various events and bring their Cribbage and Euchre leagues to Brookfield. Expanding their distribution for beer and coffee to bars and restaurants will be a possibility as production is increased.

“Having the friendliness of a bar and comfort of a cafe while providing events and opportunities to connect to the community is paramount to the two of us. Coffee + Beer + Community is our motto and we are excited to bring that energy to the new space.”

Biloba’s last day will be February 17th, please come by and celebrate the time and tradition that the Lane family has brought to Brookfield Road.
