Vehicle Pursuit on the 2100 block of S. 15th Pl. Sunday, April 20, 2025

Milwaukee Police were involved in a vehicle pursuit that occurred on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., on the 2100 block of S. 15th Place. MPD officers observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver refused to stop and continued to drive recklessly. A vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended when the driver struck a trailer and became disabled on the 1300 block of W. Oklahoma Avenue. The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man, was arrested without further incident. Suspected illegal narcotics were recovered. After the pursuit ended, it was determined that there were three children under the age of 4-years-old in the vehicle without child seats during the pursuit. No injuries were reported. Charges for Fleeing, three counts of First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and three counts of Neglecting a Child will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
