United Auto Workers Southeast Wisconsin endorses Katie Kegel for Circuit Court

MILWAUKEE — The campaign for Katie Kegel for Judge in Milwaukee County Circuit Court, Branch 3, today announced she has received the endorsement of the United Auto Workers of Southeast Wisconsin.

“We are proud to endorse Katie Kegel for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court. As a public defender and skilled trial attorney, Katie understands how our justice system impacts real lives and our communities at large,” said John Drew, Vice Chair of UAW SE WI CAP Council and Vice President of Local 72. “We need judges like Katie, who will work toward justice for all by treating every person with dignity and respect, no matter their background, race or zip code.”

“I am honored to have the strength of UAW’s membership behind me in this race,” said Kegel. “I care deeply for the place I live and the people in it. I believe my role in whatever work I do is to reduce harm and strengthen community. That is why I will work towards ensuring community safety in a smarter way.
