MADISON — Today, the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau released revenue projections for the state, which show declining payroll and corporate income tax collections, a clear sign of an economy on the brink as the Trump regime carries out a global trade war.

The four Democratic members of the Joint Committee on Finance issued the following statement:

“Now, more than ever, Wisconsinites are struggling to put food on the table and maintain a roof over their heads. This projection shows it’s going to get even worse, especially when our communities start to feel the direct impact of the Trump regime’s trade war around the globe.

“Together, we need to ensure Wisconsinites have the resources to get through the chaos and uncertainty that lies ahead.”

All voters need to remember that Republicans need to held responsible for the devastation this dictator has inflicted on the health and well-being of every American–well, except for the very wealthy–they’re still coming out on top. Time for Democrats and Independents to take charge and elect public officials who are not willing to compromise our constitution.
