“Trans Enough” Art Exhibit Back for Second Year
The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center Celebrates Transgender Day of Visibility with Second Annual “Trans Enough” Exhibit
On March 31, 2024, the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center will host their second annual art exhibition for Transgender Day of Visibility called “Trans Enough.” This exhibition aims to showcase the diversity throughout the transgender community by sharing personal stories, and works of art related to a person’s gender journey. The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center invites the public to submit original art pieces to include in the exhibition. First time exhibiting artists, those who don’t consider themselves artists and those who are at any level of their gender journey are especially encouraged to submit artwork. Submissions can be made anonymously.
The opening night event for “Trans Enough” will take place at The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, 315 West Court St. Milwaukee, WI, on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 5pm and will run through April 2024. All community members are encouraged to visit the exhibition at the opening night event and during The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center’s regular business hours.
The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center’s mission is to further develop our vibrant lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community in the greater Milwaukee area, thus improving the quality of life for all of us. The mission is supported by the Center’s leadership in community building, health promotion, advocacy, and communications.
