Track & Field Travels to Connecticut for 2025 BIG EAST Outdoor Championships

Three-day conference championship hosted by UConn

MILWAUKEE – Marquette University track & field travels to Connecticut for the 2025 BIG EAST Outdoor Championships presented by JEEP held May 15 through May 17 at the Sherman Sports Complex on the campus of UConn.

The BIG EAST Digital Network on FloCollege will cover the running events live starting 1 p.m. CT on Friday and 12 p.m. on Saturday. The men’s and women’s 10,000 meters will also be broadcast on Thursday starting at 7 p.m. Adam Giardino and Kacy Standohar will be on the call. Field and multi-events will be taped, with highlights inserted into the two-day broadcast.

The three-day event begins on Thursday with Heptathlon and Decathlon events.

Annika Bynum owns the best mark in the BIG EAST this outdoor season in the high jump after tying the program record last weekend at the Uncaged Eagle Open, clearing 1.80 meters.

Sophie Herriot is No. 1 in the pole vault with a mark of 3.85 meters at the Uncaged Eagle Open, the fourth-best mark in program history.

Russell Czerwinski is tied for the second-best high jump mark, clearing 2.05 meters for the seventh-best mark in program history at the Brutus Hamilton Invite.

Riley Ward has the third-best mark in the javelin after breaking the program record with a 42.35-meter throw

Aaron Hughes has the third-best mark in the 100m, running a 10.57 second 100m at the Kansas Relays, the third-best time in program history.

Julia Beck owns the third-best 100 hurdles time in the conference after tying the program record last weekend with a 13.96 second race at the Uncaged Eagle Open.
