Track & Field Competes at WashU Distance Carnival
Golden Eagles first outdoor event of the 2025 season
SAINT LOUIS, Missouri – Marquette University track & field distance runners opened the 2025 outdoor season at the WashU Distance Carnival on Thursday and Friday.
Emily Capper finished first in the third section of the 5000m at 18:36.20 for a new PR. Audrey Grimm finished fourth in the same section with a new PR of 18:56.09.
Emma Coon ran the 100000m for the first time and finished second in her section with a time of 36:49.44.
Logan Goodman finished first in his section of the 5000m run with a PR of 15:14.06.
Nick Parrell finished second in the fifth section of the 5000m run with a PR of 15:37.30.
Edgar Valles finished fifth in his first outdoor 5000m with a time of 15:39.25.
