Track & Field Competes at Kansas Relays
Hughes runs second fastest outdoor 100m in program history
Marquette University track & field competed at the Kansas Relays this weekend in Lawrence, Kansas.
Aaron Hughes finished second in the 100m final at 10.57 seconds, the third-best time in program history.
Emily Capper set a new PR in the 5000m at 18:17.43 to finish fifth in the 5000m.
Annika Bynum finished fourth in the high jump at 1.65m. Julia Beck finished fourth in the 100h final at 14.45 seconds.
Tessa Hollander had the sixth-best javelin throw in program history at 39.78m.
Sophie Herriot had the fifth-best pole vault performance in program history, clearing 3.84m. Kaitlyn Huebner finished fourth in the open section of the pole vault, clearing 3.54m for a new PR.
UP NEXT: Marquette travels to Des Moines, Iowa for the Drake Relays April 24-26 and Whitewater, Wisconsin for the UWW Drake Alternative on April 25.
