The Milwaukee Museum Mile Presents Its 8th Annual MMM Day on Mother’s Day!

Milwaukee, WI, April 23, 2019 – The Eighth Annual Milwaukee Museum Mile Day celebration will once again take place on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  #MMMDay is a great way to spend Mother’s Day exploring five unique museums on Milwaukee’s historic East Side.

All five MMM museums/galleries will offer free or reduced admission and light refreshments, including champagne and lemonade at some locations. Other event offerings during the day include activities for children, prize drawings and free docent-led or self-guided tours at the museums.

Walk, bike or shuttle to MMM museums! 

All MMM museums are within walking distance of each other. A free shuttle bus will run continuously every half hour between all museums beginning at 11:00 a.m. from MOWA at Saint John’s On The Lake and ending at 4:00 p.m. Participants are welcome to utilize street parking near museums or use the county parking lot in Lake Park at Newberry and Lake Drive, one block north of North Point Lighthouse along Wahl Avenue.

Five small- and medium-sized arts and culture museums, located on Milwaukee’s historic East Side along the Lake Michigan shoreline, have banded together to create the Milwaukee Museum Mile.
