The Flamenco Nutcracker Returns!
The sixth annual production of Milwaukee’s Holiday Flamenco Favorite
Milwaukee, WI– The Nutcracker like you’ve never seen it! Live Flamenco music and dance in a dynamic, fast-paced show for all ages. The only one of its kind – The Flamenco Nutcracker was created in Milwaukee in 2020 and will return to the South Milwaukee PAC this December for its sixth season on December 6th- with shows at 3pm & 7pm. Experience the passion of Flamenco and learn about Hispanic holiday traditions in this dynamic, fast-paced show with a total run time of 70 minutes. Tickets start at $15 with children under 4 free!
Join us on Saturday, Dec. 6th, with performances at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Adult Premium seats are $45, general admission $35. Senior admission for all seats is $25. Student admission is $15 for all seats with free admission for children under age 4. The venue at 901 15th Ave., in South Milwaukee, has parking and is accessible. You won’t want to miss this rare holiday treat! Featuring a percussive footwork duel between the Matador Prince and The Raven Queen, a moving dream sequence filled with fantastic characters, the Sugar Plum Fairy dance with castanets, and a lively classical Spanish dance ‘Olé Andaluz’ performed by students from the Milwaukee Ballet’s PreProfessional Program. The show culminates with the traditional Flamenco ‘Zambomba’, a rousing holiday carol from Andalucia where the whole audience can join in.

In addition to the December 6th performances, Studio K partners with a Milwaukee elementary school to provide free performances of the Flamenco Nutcracker to that location. The 2025 site is TBA.

The Flamenco Nutcracker Cast:
The Flamenco Nutcracker features guest dancer from Spain, Manuel Gutierrez (dance, choreography), Studio K Flamenco Artistic Director Kerensa DeMars (dance, choreography, artistic direction), guest dancer Melissa Cruz, and the Studio K Company Dancers with music by Andres Vadin (guitar), Manuel Gutierrez (vocals, percussion), José Cortés (vocals, percussion), and Diego Alvarez (percussion).
