Suspect criminally charged regarding a fatal hit and run accident

On Thursday, October 1, 2020, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office issued criminal charges against Robert A. Nash for his involvement in a fatal hit and run accident that occurred on Saturday, September 26, 2020, on the 1700 block of North 35th Street.

Nash was charged with one count of Vehicle Operator Flee/Elude Officer Resulting in the Death of Another, one count of Hit and Run – Resulting in Death and one count of Knowingly Operate Motor Vehicle While Suspended – Cause Death. If convicted, he could face up to 46 years in prison and he may be fined up to $160,000, or both.
