Supervisors Meet to Highlight Local Economy
MMAC President Tim Sheehy to Present “Building a Partnership for Economic Prosperity”
Milwaukee – The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors is pleased to welcome the president of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) to a meeting of the Committee of the Whole on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.
MMAC President Tim Sheehy is set to share a presentation titled “Building a Partnership for Economic Prosperity.”
“Job creation is a priority for the people of Wisconsin, and Milwaukee County is an economic engine,” said Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic. “We are eager to hear from Mr. Sheehy and to discover ways for the Board to engage effectively with the business community to foster job growth, a strong workforce and a robust economic environment.”
At this special meeting, the Board will also hear about two of the ideas that County Executive Chris Abele laid-out in his State of the County address: the future delivery of mental health services and the use of Milwaukee County-owned buildings.
