Supervisor Taylor Honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award
MILWAUKEE – On Friday, December 3 County Supervisor Sequanna Taylor was honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Supervisor Taylor made the following statement:
“My thanks go out to those who chose to honor me, as well as to the long list of volunteers who have worked beside me over the years. To receive recognition from President Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris is truly an honor,” said Supervisor Taylor. “As my own village battles through generational curses, I remain a public servant. It is only through serving our community and helping the most vulnerable that we truly serve ourselves and find peace. I refuse to stop ‘putting on’ for my city and I encourage others to do so as well.”
The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is reserved for those who contribute more than 4,000 hours of service in their lifetime. Along with the ultimate honor of Presidential recognition, recipients will receive a personalized certificate, an official pin, medallion or coin and a congratulatory letter signed by the President and Vice President of the United States.
Billboards celebrating Supervisor Taylor and other recipients can be seen off I-41 in Menomonee Falls and above the 84 South retail development in Greenfield. Billboards can be found nationally in places like Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and more.
