Supervisor Logsdon Commends Donation of All-Weather Park Bench from Hales Corners Lions Club
MILWAUKEE – Today the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors authorized the Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture to accept a donation of an all-weather park bench from the Hales Corners Lions Club, to be placed at Hales Corner Park. This non-profit public partnership showcases the collaborative efforts between Milwaukee County and its residents to enhance community spaces.
Supervisor Patti Logsdon issued the following statement:
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Hales Corners Lions Club for their thoughtful contribution, which will be deeply appreciated by residents and visitors alike. This bench will be placed by the War Memorial in Hales Corners Park, serving as a lasting symbol of community spirit and support. This act of kindness exemplifies the strong sense of community and dedication to public spaces that define District 9. Together, we continue to enhance our local parks for the enjoyment of all.“Thank you also to my colleagues on the Board of Supervisors for their unanimous support of this resolution. Through collaborative efforts like these, we reaffirm our commitment to making Milwaukee County an even better place to live, work, and play.”
