Sunstone Studios to present Who’s Holiday! Featuring Samantha Sostarich

Milwaukee, WI (November 17, 2022) – Sunstone Studios is proud to announce the 2nd annual production of Who’s Holiday! by Matthew Lombardo, directed by Amber Regan and performed by Samantha Sostarich at the intimate Sunstone Studios space at 127 E. Wells St. in Milwaukee. Tickets are $33 and available online at www.sunstonestudiosmke.com.

Last season, Russ Bickerstaff of the Shepherd Express wrote “Who’s Holiday! offers a great deal more depth than a simple, naughty revision on an old children’s classic.” In Who’s Holiday! Cindy Lou Who from the classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas is all grown up and tells the story of her meeting with the Grinch from her perspective. Full of bawdy laughs, touching drama, and heartfelt emotion, all packed into a one–act play that carries the spirit of the holiday season for adults only!

Who’s Holiday! was originally produced at The Westside Theatre in New York City on November 20, 2017 where it was nominated for the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Solo Show. Director Amber Regan says: “Last year, Samantha Sostarich captured adult Cindy Lou Who’s story in such a humorous and heartwarming way, we knew we wanted to create a new Milwaukee tradition. A tradition for those of us who like a really funny, dirty joke mixed with our holiday cheer.”
