JANESVILLE, Wis. – First Congressional District candidate Bryan Steil‘s campaign released today the following statement prior to Sen. Bernie Sanders‘ visit to Janesville.

Andrew Iverson, Steil Campaign Spokesman: “Southeast Wisconsinite’s paychecks would ‘feel the Bern’ with Sen. Bernie Sanders and our opponent’s out of touch, far-left agenda. We are beginning to see what conservative reforms can do for the country and Bryan will work to implement pro-jobs reforms in Washington so that Wisconsinites can keep more of their paychecks.”

Bryan Steil was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin. He is a member of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents and has a strong background as a business leader. For the past nine years, Bryan has worked for manufacturing companies in Rock County and has learned the importance of fiscal discipline and risks of government red tape. Bryan is running for Congress to reduce government overreach and prepare our workforce for the jobs of the future.
