Speaker Vos Statement on SCOWIS Decision

Madison…Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) released the following statement after a 4-3 ruling by the Wisconsin Supreme Court on the legislative maps.

“I said this was going to happen earlier this week. The case was pre-decided before it was even brought. Sad day for our state when the State Supreme Court just said last year that the existing lines are constitutional. The U.S. Supreme Court will have the last word.”

Why doesn’t Urban Milwaukee provide coverage on how those representing us in Brookfield vote? A little effort at expansion? There is a need for an honest voice explaining what those in government are doing and how they are actually voting.

A 48 word press release in reponse to one of the most significant cases decided by the State Supreme Court in many years.
It looks like no one was available in the Vos office other than a rookie intern. Getting home for Christmas must have been the priority.
