South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center Presents Flamenco Night at Bucyrus Club & Event Center

(South Milwaukee, WI) – South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center is proud to present Flamenco Night featuring Kerensa DeMars & Evan Christian at Bucyrus Club & Event Center (1919 12th Ave., South Milwaukee) on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Join us for an intimate evening of Spanish influenced food followed by flamenco music and dance featuring Milwaukee’s finest flamenco artists. The evening will begin at 5:30 with a cash bar followed by dinner at 6:30 and a flamenco show at 7:30. Advance reservations are required and can be made until Oct. 31 at 5 pm or while they last.

Evan Christian is a recording artist, music producer, award winning flamenco guitarist and world traveler. He has collaborated and performed with Spain’s top flamenco artists, been featured in multiple publications and is the owner of Gibraltar Milwaukee, a live music lounge in the historic third ward. Kerensa DeMars is a choreographer, performer and educator working in flamenco dance. She lived in Spain, trained intensively with Spain’s foremost artists, and performed internationally in London and Barcelona. Kerensa was the founding director of the San Francisco Flamenco Dance Company and the recipient of major choreography commissions. She is the director of Studio K Flamenco, Milwaukee’s home for the flamenco arts. She has performed “The Flamenco Nutcracker” at South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center for 5 years.

The evening’s menu will start with an appetizer of tapas including a sampling of Jamon Serrano (cured ham), Spanish olives and manchego cheese, followed by a plated salad of roasted veggies (roasted and chilled asparagus, red peppers, zucchini, and yellow squash with goat cheese and pistachios dressed with a mango vinaigrette. Chimichurri chicken will be the main entree plus Spanish roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus garnished with pickled red onions and a dessert of warm arroz con leche.
