South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center Announces South Milwaukee Youth Theatre’s Annie Jr. and Seussical Jr.
Educational theatre programs offered during the summer for students who are interested in musical theatre.
(South Milwaukee, WI) – The South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center and the South Milwaukee Youth Theatre Program (SMYT) offers fun and educational theatre programs during the summer for students who are interested in musical theatre.
Junior students 5-11 years of age will perform in Annie Jr. on July 19th at 1:00 and 6:00 pm. SMYT Senior students who are 12-18 years of age will perform in Seussical Jr. on July 25th at 7:00 pm, July 26th at 7:00 pm and July 27th at 2:00 pm. All performances will be held at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center, 901 15th Avenue, South Milwaukee.
Tickets are available at the SMPAC Box Office Monday-Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., by calling (414) 766-5049, or online at www.southmilwaukeepac.org. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Children 5 and under are free.

The South Milwaukee Youth Theatre program creates a safe, respectful and collaborative environment for students to learn the values and life skills of teamwork, confidence, honesty, kindness, perseverance and responsibility through the production of high-quality performances.
South Milwaukee Youth Theatre started in 1979 and has produced 40 musicals including , Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, Sleeping Beauty, High School Musical, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Music Man and Into the Woods. SMYT hopes to bring a new variety of musicals to the community and give children a fun way to express their creativity through song and acting.
