FREE summer concert series kicks off Tuesday

Weather permitting, Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs invites neighbors to join the fun at the 2017 Skyline Music concert series at Kadish Park, just south of E. North Ave. between the Kilbourn Park Reservoir and Commerce St. The group De La Buena will provide the music entertainment for opening night tomorrow Tuesday, July 11, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Hosted by the COA Youth & Family Centers, the free Tuesday evening concert series also includes food vendors and free art activities offered by the Riverwest Artists Association.
The series runs through August 22.
Each concert of the Skyline Music series starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. The lineup for 2017:
- July 11 – De La Buena
- July 18 – Ahvant Soul
- July 25 – Urban Empress and Urbanities
- August 1 – Paul Cebar
- August 8 – 5 Card Studs
- August 15 – King Solomon
- August 22 – Tweed Funk
