Shepherd Express Endorses Charlie Fox for 5th District Supervisor
The Shepherd Express today announced its endorsement of Charlie Fox for 5th District County Board Supervisor.
MILWAUKEE- The Shepherd Express today announced its endorsement of Charlie Fox for 5th District County Board Supervisor in a Special Election on November 4. The 5th District seat has been vacant since May, when Russell Stamper II resigned after becoming a Milwaukee Alderman.
The Shepherd Express is a weekly independent Milwaukee newspaper, covering local news, arts, entertainment, and culture. In its endorsement, the Shepherd said, “Fox is a longtime advisor and community activist who knows and has worked with just about everybody in this district.” They continued, “Fox will provide this district with stable representation when the board as a whole will undergo high turnover.”
“I am proud to have earned the endorsement of the Shepherd Express,” Fox said. “The Shepherd is a widely read newspaper which covers and comments on issues of importance to this entire diverse District, from the far West side of Milwaukee to the Third Ward
