Senator Hesselbein Applauds Sen. Lena Taylor’s Appointment to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court
MADISON, Wis – Today, Governor Tony Evers appointed Senator Lena Taylor (D-Milwaukee) to fill the vacancy created by Judge Audrey Skwierawski’s resignation from the Milwaukee County Circuit Court – Branch 41. Senator Taylor will be resigning from the Wisconsin State Senate effective today. Senate Democratic Leader Dianne Hesselbein (D-Middleton) released the following statement:
“Senator Taylor is a fierce and effective advocate for the people of Milwaukee and her dedication to her community is unmatched. I am confident that the Senator will diligently fulfill the duties of a Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge because of her equitable pursuit of justice and commitment to the truth.
