Sen. Johnson Joins Finance Committee Republicans in Vowing to Oppose Any Short-Term Tax Package

Simply ridiculous! The tax cuts for the very wealthy have not helped grow our economy. Reagan trickle down, never has and never will work in a positive way. The income and wealth gaps have increased. Sunset the tax cuts, help reduce the deficit. It is the right thing to do. Oh, and get rid of carryover tax benefits.
Fix the deficit by taxing the wealthy 40-50% with higher amounts as needed.
An oligarchy is a horrid economy. Disdain for those who perform the actual work and all the money to the already grossly overpaid.
In the last 40 yrs or so the salaries at the top (the C suite folks) have increased 168% — – the salaries of the working and middle classes 35-38%.
THAT needs fixing.
