Ryan Theis Leaves Marquette After 11 Seasons
MU begins a national search for a replacement
MILWAUKEE – Former Marquette University women’s volleyball head coach Ryan Theis has accepted a position at the University of Florida to leave Milwaukee after 11 seasons leading the Golden Eagles.
Theis recorded a 258-87 overall record during his time at Marquette and his .748 winning percentage ranks as the top in program history. The Madison, Wisconsin native led the Golden Eagles to three BIG EAST Conference regular season titles and a mark of 154-31 in league play.
Marquette made its third trip to an NCAA Regional in the fall of 2024 and has participated in each of the last 13 full-field NCAA tournaments.
A national search for a new head coach begins immediately.
