Russell Antonio Goodwin, Sr. Announces His Write-In Candidacy for 2022 District 18 Milwaukee County Supervisor

Russell Antonio Goodwin proudly announces his write-in candidacy for the 2022 election for District 18 Milwaukee County Supervisor.

Russell Antonio Goodwin, Sr., has represented District 18 since being elected in 2020. He has served on the Health Equity, Human Needs and Strategic Planning Committee, Personnel Committee, and the Chairman of the Transportation, Public Works, and Transit Committee. Goodwin is an entrepreneur who owns Goodwin Enterprises, LLC. In addition, he is a Book Author, Singer/Songwriter, Music Producer, and TV/Film Producer. Goodwin is also the Senior Pastor of the Movement Center Church, where he is very active in outreach ministry feeding and clothing the homeless and less fortunate.

Goodwin plans to continue helping those who are less fortunate. He is dedicated to making Milwaukee County District 18 and beyond safer, enjoyable, and prosperous.

Russell Antonio Goodwin is a man of few excuses; however, he worked hard to get signatures but unfortunately came up short after knocking on hundreds of doors. Due to the recent rise in Covid cases within District 18, many residents were scared to answer their doors. Goodwin personally witnessed the long Covid testing lines wrapped around corners at multiple locations within the district. In addition, many residents expressed concerns that current methods of getting signatures have become dangerous considering we are in a real live pandemic. Some residents even yelled out of their windows that they were sick. In the future, Goodwin hopes that state officials, democrats, and republicans would reach across the aisles and compassionately consider an e-signing or  alternative method to getting nomination signatures to keep the community safe.

The general election is on April 5th., 2022.
