Riverwest Radio Hosts First Holiday Market & Cookie Sale

Dec. 20 at Falcon Hall – Last-Minute Gifts, Local Makers, and 27 Varieties of Cookies

By - Dec 8th, 2025 06:42 pm

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Riverwest Radio (WXRW-LP 104.1 FM), Milwaukee’s community-powered, volunteer-run radio station, is celebrating the season with its first-ever Holiday Market & Cookie Sale on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Falcon Hall inside Falcon Bowl (801 E Clarke St, Milwaukee).

The event combines a neighborhood holiday market—featuring local makers, artists, vintage sellers, and small businesses—with the station’s third annual home-baked cookie fundraiser. Riverwest Radio hosts, volunteers, and friends are baking 27 different varieties of cookies, available for online pre-order now and for purchase at the event while supplies last.

“Riverwest Radio is tiny in wattage but big in spirit,” said station manager Xav Leplae. “This market is a way for people to support local artists, grab last-minute gifts, and keep independent media on the air—all in one afternoon, with a bag of cookies in their hand.”

  • Standard full table: $50
  • Half-size space: $35

Vendors are invited to help spread the word by sharing at least two social media posts about the market in the weeks leading up to the event. Full vendor information and the application form are available at riverwestradio.com under the Holiday Market & Cookie Sale section.

“I’m excited for our first Holiday Market,” said station manager Xav Leplae. “My hope is that it becomes a yearly tradition—a warm, cozy, fun afternoon where people can meet the makers, bump into their neighbors, and feel good about supporting local media. More than anything, we want people to leave happy and come back next year.”
