Residents invited to join tonight’s MPD District 7 Crime and Safety meeting

Alderman Lamont Westmoreland is encouraging area residents to attend tonight’s MPD District 7 Crime and Safety meeting. The meeting will take place tonight – Monday, July 8 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, 8424 W. Center St.

Topics will include crime statistics, traffic stops, field interview, no action encounters, frisk, and searches. Guest speakers will be Ben Merens – Outreach Specialist with the DATCP and Eric Schilling-Mess with OCOE. All area residents are invited to attend and learn more.
