MADISON, Wis. — Republicans are united around Tom Tiffany for Governor and are ready to deliver victories against Democrats and David Crowley.

Republicans represent a clear contrast with the failed, out-of-touch agenda Democrats are offering. Wisconsin voters chose proven leaders who will lower costs, protect public safety, and put Wisconsin first.

“Republicans are united around Tom Tiffany and ready to defeat David Crowley in November,” stated WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming. “Democrats are moving further and further to the left. This election comes down to the difference between common sense and radicalism.”

Every Democrat on the ballot must answer for David Crowley’s record of failure. Crowley has run Milwaukee County into the ground. The county faces a projected $160 million-plus deficit even after raising the sales tax on working families to stave off bankruptcy. His administration allowed the health care contract for thousands of county workers and retirees to lapse. Crowley has been endorsed by Tony Evers and previously by Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm, whose office set the low bail that enabled Darrell Brooks to later drive through the Waukesha Christmas parade. Crowley also cosponsored legislation that would have weakened penalties for bail jumping, making it easier for criminals to avoid accountability.

These are not mainstream positions or competent leadership. They are the results of failed policies that make Wisconsin less safe, less affordable, and less free.

Every Democrat running for office in Wisconsin this year must explain whether they stand with Crowley’s record of tax hikes, budget shortfalls, and soft-on-crime policies or with the working families, farmers, small businesses, and law enforcement officers who reject it.

The Republican Party of Wisconsin looks forward to supporting Tom Tiffany and every Republican nominee up and down the ballot as we fight to deliver results for the people of Wisconsin this fall.
