MADISON, WI – This morning, EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics – announced their endorsement of State Representatives Robyn Vining and Jenna Jacobson and their campaigns to win a Democratic majority in Wisconsin’s State Senate.

Representative Vining (AD-13) is running to flip Wisconsin’s 5th Senate District, and Representative Jacobson (AD-50) is running in the 17th district. Both candidates have a long history of defending reproductive freedom across our state, fighting for Wisconsin’s hardworking families, and working to build a stronger future for Wisconsin.

Representative Jenna Jacobson made the following statement on Emilys List’s endorsement of her campaign:

“We are building a campaign that can win next year and deliver a democratic majority to the Wisconsin State Senate for the first time in over a decade. I’m thrilled to have the support of EMILYs List in this race as we continue working everyday to earn the trust and support of the 17th Senate District. We are going to win this race by focusing on the issues that matter to hard working Wisconsin families; cutting costs, improving our education system, and ensuring that our young families are able to afford to stay in our beautiful state, and I welcome anyone who is committed to these same ideas to join our team.”

Representative Robyn Vining released the following statement on receiving the endorsement of EMILYs List:

“Wisconsinites deserve access to affordable, accessible healthcare—and that includes reproductive healthcare. EMILYs List works diligently to elect women who are committed to this mission, and I am honored to have their support in this campaign for Wisconsin’s 5th Senate District. Together, we will flip this district from red to blue, win a Democratic Majority for the first time in 15 years, and to move Wisconsin forward, together.”
