Rep.Stubbs Statement on Committee Assignment

MADISON – Today. Representative Shelia Stubbs (D-77) was assigned to serve on the following committees:

  • Assembly Committee on Tourism- Ranking Member
  • Assembly Committee on Colleges and Universities
  • Assembly Committee on Corrections
  • Assembly Committee on Criminal Justice & Public Safety

Following this announcement, Representative Stubbs issued the following statement:

“I am proud to announce I will be serving the people of Wisconsin on these committees, and that I will continue to work with my colleagues to create real, meaningful, change. We have a difficult session ahead, but it is vital that our leaders continue to come to the table, and find solutions.

“Across all four of these committees, I will continue to bring a voice for equity, and for change. I am ready to get to work, and make Wisconsin a better place for everyone.”

Rep. Stubbs represents the 77 Assembly District, which includes the south and western parts of Madison, the Village of Shorewood Hills, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison
