Rep. Fitzgerald Statement on Israel’s Strike Against Iran
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) issued the following statement in response to Israel’s strike against Iran.
“President Trump and Secretary Rubio have made clear that the United States was not involved in the planning or execution of these attacks. However, our commitment to Israel’s security remains firm.
“I’ve consistently supported efforts to prevent a nuclear Iran, and I stand with President Trump in his efforts to restore stability in the region.”

Seems like a rather ambiguous press release with statements like “I strongly support Israel’s right to defend itself” and “I stand with President Trump in his efforts to restore stability in the region”. The later statement definitely refers to a diplomatic solution as Steve Witkoff was meeting with Iran this Sunday.

Netanyahu just put an end to any diplomatic solution as he killed the diplomats. But I doubt there will be any end to the donations, i.e. bribes, AIPAC will be making to US politicians on both sides of the aisle so that these politicians will say things like they “strongly support Israels right to defend itself” no matter how provocative Israel’s actions are.
But hey, we are the USA and with Republican leaders like Fitzgerald leading the way things will always work out for us. Just enjoy the “big beautiful military parade” tomorrow, pass the “big beautiful bill”, start the “big beautiful war”, declare the “big beautiful martial law”. It’s all good!
