Rep. Deb Andraca Honors First Responder of the Year for 23rd Assembly District
Madison, Wis. – Today the Wisconsin State Assembly hosted first responders from all 99 State Assembly districts to recognize their selfless dedication to their communities. State Representative Deb Andraca (D-Whitefish Bay) presented the First Responder of the Year Award for the 23rd Assembly District to Dispatcher Troy Kasten, who serves as a 911 telecommunicator at the Bayside Communications Center.
“Emergency dispatchers are our first point of contact when we call 911 and play an essential role in providing help when we need it the most. Dispatcher Kasten has served Milwaukee’s North Shore for over a decade providing guidance, support, and direction to countless people in our district. It was a privilege to welcome Dispatcher Kasten to the Wisconsin State Capitol to present him with this award and honor his years of service and dedication. I am grateful for all the first responders in the 23rd Assembly District who work around the clock to keep our communities healthy and safe.”
