Rep. Bowen’s Statement on Passing of Shorewood High School Student
"My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Megan and all those that were injured in this terrible crash, including her twin sister who is still recovering in the hospital."
MILWAUKEE- State Representative David Bowen released the following statement in response to the tragic passing of Megan Frieseke in a car accident on Sunday:
“My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Megan and all those that were injured in this terrible crash, including her twin sister who is still recovering in the hospital. A sudden death is always tragic, but it is especially heartbreaking when it involves a young teenager, taken away from our community far too soon.”
If you are a parent or guardian of a student who may need help coping with this loss, the Shorewood School District will have counselors and psychologists on site throughout this week, and they have provided additional resources here.
