Reminder: 54-hour full, directional closures along I-894/41/43 shift to southbound lanes this weekend in Milwaukee County

As part of the ongoing I-894/43/41 and Hale Interchange resurfacing and improvement project, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is notifying motorists of the third full, directional closure along I-894/43/41 through the Hale Interchange. Closures are shifting to the southbound lanes.

11 p.m. Friday, October 3 – 5:30 a.m. Monday, October 6

  • Southbound I-41/894, between Greenfield Avenue and the Hale Interchange, is scheduled to close for paving operations
  • The westbound to southbound, and eastbound to southbound system ramps in the Zoo Interchange will also be closed during these operations
  • The inside lane of southbound I-41/894 between Greenfield Avenue and the Hale Interchange will remain closed until final paving operations are complete (scheduled for October 13, weather permitting)
