MILWAUKEE – The Third Ward Beer Garden and Radio Milwaukee are teaming up to bring a new Sunday tradition to Catalano Square with the launch of Sunday Sessions. Beginning June 21, the new music series will feature select Sunday afternoons filled with live performances from local musicians, curated sets from Radio Milwaukee DJs, and the perfect soundtrack for enjoying the neighborhood’s seasonal gathering place.

Taking place from 3 to 5:30 p.m., Sunday Sessions will showcase some of Milwaukee’s most talented artists alongside the voices behind Radio Milwaukee’s programming. The series celebrates the city’s creative spirit while creating a relaxed, community-focused experience at the Third Ward Beer Garden.

“Music has always been at the heart of Milwaukee’s identity, and the Third Ward Beer Garden is designed to be a place where the community can come together to enjoy great experiences in a beautiful public space,” says Dave Hock, owner of the Third Ward Beer Garden. “Partnering with Radio Milwaukee allows us to highlight local artists and create a new Sunday tradition for residents and visitors alike.”

Each Sunday Sessions event will feature performances by two local musicians and two sets from a Radio Milwaukee DJ. The 2026 lineup includes:

Sunday, June 21

Sunday, July 19

Sunday, August 16

Sunday, September 20

Sunday, October 18

“Radio Milwaukee is committed to supporting Milwaukee’s artists and creating opportunities for people to connect through music,” said Kenny Perez, Program Director – 88Nine. “Sunday Sessions is a great way to bring together our DJs, local musicians, and the community in one of Milwaukee’s most creative neighborhoods.”

Located in Catalano Square, the Third Ward Beer Garden features local beer, wine, canned cocktails, n/a drinks, games, and weekly programming throughout the season. A portion of the proceeds from the beer garden support the Historic Third Ward Association and Business Improvement District #2, helping fund improvements to Catalano Square.

Sunday Sessions is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to grab a drink, bring friends, and enjoy an afternoon of live music in the heart of the Historic Third Ward.
