MILWAUKEE — Brewers fans, get ready to take your World Series experience outside. On Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24, Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward will become a destination for baseball fans with two days of watch parties, live sports programming, food, drinks, baseball nostalgia and plenty of surprises.

Menomonee Street will be closed between Broadway and Milwaukee Street, creating additional space for fans to gather, watch the Milwaukee Brewers in the World Series and soak up the game-day atmosphere.

At the center of the celebration will be the Third Ward Beer Garden, where fans can catch the World Series (both scheduled for 7 p.m.) on giant video screens while enjoying food trucks, Brewers-themed cocktails and other special programming throughout the weekend. The Bill Michaels Show will also broadcast live from the park, bringing its familiar sports talk and analysis directly to the festivities.

And that’s just part of what’s happening.

FOX One is bringing its Relive Live experience to Catalano Square, giving fans an opportunity to step inside a throwback baseball living room filled with iconic moments, retro furnishings, Brewers memorabilia, signed baseballs, bobbleheads and more.

The free pop-up will run from noon to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with opportunities for fans to take photos, enter giveaways and relive some of the memories that make baseball special.

The FOX One experience will continue into the evening with live tapings of Foul Territory, the popular baseball show and podcast. Friday and Saturday’s tapings, from 5 to 7 p.m., will feature former Brewers All-Star pitcher Corey Knebel, 13-year MLB outfielder Kevin Pillar and longtime national broadcaster Alanna Rizzo.

“We wanted to create a weekend that feels bigger than simply watching a game,” says Dave Hock, owner of the Third Ward Beer Garden. “We’re bringing together the energy of the World Series with live sports personalities, great food and drinks, baseball memories and the unique atmosphere of the Historic Third Ward. Whether you’re coming for the game, the live broadcasts, Relive Live or just to hang out with fellow Brewers fans, there will be plenty happening.”
