On March 25, 2021, an untraditional exhibition showcasing fluffy, sugarcoated marshmallow PEEPS® began its twelfth year at the Racine Art Museum (RAM). The RAM 12th Annual International PEEPS Art Exhibition featured 138 creative and entertaining entries that demonstrated the talent of over 200 artists from across the country.

Inspired by pop culture, animals, sports, and famous artists, many of the PEEPS® art entries are by local artists, families, and organizations. However, several pieces arrive every year from out-of-state. This year, PEEPS® pieces were sent to RAM from as far away as Fairfield, Iowa; Pisgah Forest, North Carolina; and Moraga, California.

Visitors to RAM throughout the run of the show were invited to vote for their favorite creation, naming one popular artwork worthy of the coveted PEEPles Choice Award. Voting has been taken very seriously since the inception of the annual exhibition. With guests only allowed one choice, they circled the exhibition room while taking notes, and often lobbied for their eventual favorite.

After tallying 2,336 votes, RAM is pleased to announce this year’s PEEPles Choice Award winner is Funhouse by Racine artist Susan Buhler. Funhouse was also awarded Third Peep in the Adult Division during a Virtual Awards Ceremony on March 24, 2021.

This competition is sponsored by the Racine Art Museum Store and Guest Relations.

The RAM 12th Annual International PEEPS Art Exhibition is made possible in part by
